Mission and values
ACCESS TO QUALITY EDUCATION REGARDLESS OF PLACE OF BIRTH

Our vision is a Ukraine where every child can realize their own potential, regardless of their place of birth or residence.

Problems
Together we will catch up knowledge and overcome educational inequality

Unfortunately, the place of birth and residence largely determine the opportunities for a child in Ukraine to realize their potential. The war dealt a serious blow to Ukrainian education in general and led to learning losses in children, measured in years. Ukrainian schoolchildren find themselves in unstable and fragmentary learning conditions, which significantly affects their capabilities in the future.

QUALITY EDUCATION

We attract the best graduates of Ukrainian universities, teachers, and volunteers so that children from all over Ukraine receive support in their studies where it is most lacking.

CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

Our projects unlock the potential and strengthen self-confidence in both children and participants, who become mentors and leaders, and an example of change.

Creating a community

We unite young people, teachers, and volunteers around initiatives that change schools and communities from within.

Activity map
80 schools; 65,000 students

Since 2017, 54 schools in five regions of Ukraine have become partners of Teach For Ukraine. As a result, more than 25,000 children in small communities have become students of proactive teachers who help them improve the quality of learning and become role models for them. Since 2022, the Educational SUPport program has helped almost 40,000 students catch up with their knowledge through free online and offline classes. In particular, the program created 14 catch-up centers for additional classes in schools.

Organization’s History
We are part of the global TEACH FOR ALL network

Ukraine became the 41st country in the world and the 17th in Europe to join the International Teach For All program, a network that has existed for more than 30 years and now operates in 63 countries around the world.

The network brings together organizations that attract young leaders to teach in schools — and today it has more than 80,000 graduates from the world’s best universities.
